About the Whimmydiddle

Whimmydiddle Arts and Crafts Fair comes to Scott City Park on the last Saturday of every September. One of the largest craft shows in Western Kansas, this event features over 200 exhibitors from across the United States who arrive with original art, metal working, upcycled and reconditioned items, pottery and crafts in wood, fabric, jewelry, silk & dried flowers. The Whimmydiddle also offers a variety of tempting food concessions to entice visitors to indulge themselves. read more

What's your Whimmydiddle tradition?

"There are some things I can both reflect on with fond memories and also look forward to with excitement. Whimmydiddle is one of those things for me. I remember my mom taking me as a young girl and how fun it was to have the entire City Park as my playground! We would (and still do) make our rounds from early morning, while some booths were still getting set up, until the end of the day when vendors were packing things away..." read more

What's your favorite part about Whimmydiddle?

"I have always enjoyed attending the Whimmydiddle as a vendor and customer. The organizers and vendors are pleasant to work with and will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. It is a joy to get to know customers from western Kansas and those who have traveled hours and even out of state to show their support. This event never ceases to amaze me from beginning to end."

Rates for Vendors in 2024

In 2023, the booth rate was changed to $130 and the craft vendor application and food vendor application have been udpated to reflect this rate change. We look forward to seeing you this fall.

About Alpha Omega

Alpha Omega is a chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International chartered in 1949. Alpha Omega supports ESA's International project "St. Jude's Research Hospital"; the State of Kansas Project "Heartspring". The Chapter gives scholarships annually to graduates of Scott County High School, reaches out to needy families, and supports any local needs that arise throughout the year.
